The Artist’s Words

“In 2011, while Andre was CEO of the August Wilson Center in Pittsburgh, an 11 year old Morgan struck a deal with her father at an auction event fundraiser for the Center. She would pay 10% of the cost of the winning bid if she won the auction for the piece donated by the Carnegie Library - and the artwork would be hers. She won and an art collector was born that day.”
